1982 Alvarez Silver Belle Banjo

This 80's vintage Avarez was designed/built to approximate Gibson specifications and to compete with Mastertones of that era. It's in immaculate condition, showing only modest play wear. It has a Mahogony neck and resonator, heavily nickle-plated pot assembly and bell bronze tone ring; it also features, Hearts and Flowers inlay and fancy checkerboard and ivoroid binding on the neck and resonator.This banjo has a straight, fast neck, good intonation and good action. The tone is piercing and plenty loud, but not obnoxious. SOLD!
